One of the BEST days for us as a family (and as a couple on our dates) have been exploring the many incredible museums found all over L.A. Over 40 Los Angeles museums will open their doors and invite visitors to attend free of charge tomorrow January 25, 2020.

This offer is for general museum admission only and does not apply to specially ticketed exhibitions. Regular parking fees apply at each museum. Please check individual museum websites for hours, directions, and other visitor information.

The La Brea Tar Pits on Miracle Mile in Los Angeles gives an idea of what the area looked like and the creatures that walked there millions of years ago. Perfect for little scientists.

Levitating Mass at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is just one of many really cool art exhibits found there. More notably is the Urban Lights exhibit found on the front exterior. You’ve probably seen in on Instagram.

Some of these museums typically don’t charge throughout the year, while others have a select days where you can visit for free. But, these places are some of the most interesting and informative places in Southern California, and you should definitely be checking them out!!!
