Be sure to check out this unique one of a kind bubble experience at OC BubblePOP in Tustin.

One of my all time favorite parts of the Wizard of Oz was when Glenda the Good Witch of the West came floating into Munchkin Land in that awesome bubble of hers. It was just so magical. I’m not going to lie, even as an adult I’ve often wondered how the crew pulled that one off. I mean, color was a pretty big deal back then, so I am pretty sure they didn’t have the CGI technology to put that bubble around her. And it looks pretty legit. Like, how?!

Now I am wondering if they somehow got the same tools used at the newest indoor playground, BUBBLEPOP! Because that place literally puts you inside a Glenda sized bubble! And it’s pretty much as great as I imagined it would be.

The OC BubblePOP in Tustin is a large, interactive, open, bubble-filled playground. This family owned operation is one of a kind. You won’t find much else like it. Here families of all ages are free to play and interact with bubbles of all sorts, sizes and consistency to make lasting memories!

The open room has 10 different stations of bubble experiences.

The facility hosts 10 different stations: each providing a unique experience. From a large station to stand in as a bubble surrounds your whole body (giving you that Glenda-like experience), to dry ice bubbles held and created in your bare hand; the whole place felt like one incredible science experiment you never wanted to stop creating.

Kids are free to roam and check out the many bubble experiences.

These dry ice bubbles were simply fascinating. I LOVED them, and the slow motion videos are rad!

Waiver

Minor children should be listed on the responsible adult’s waiver. You are welcome to fill out the waiver in advance online before your visit, or in the store when you arrive.

KNOW BEFORE HAND

-You wear shoes the whole time, and the floor is soapy and slippery. Wear good shoes!

-A change of clothes might be a good idea. My 3 year old literally rolled around the ground, so it’s safe to say he got a bit wet. My 2 year old basically bathed in the soapy mixture; she was soaked. A change of clothes would have come in handy. Now I know. Don’t make my mistake, and come prepared!

-No food or drink is allowed in the facility. They do sell small snacks and drinks there. Or, you can leave and get food and return the same day at no cost. The area around the store is awesome and has plenty of food options!

Pro Tip: I highly recommend filling out the waiver online before coming to the store. On weekends, the store can get very busy and it may take 10-15 minutes or more if you want to wait for one of the open kiosks.

No need to print out waiver after filling it out. Information is stored online, they can look up your waiver online in the store. Go here to fill out the waiver before your visit.
