Ricky Zoom: Welcome to Wheelford Preschool App
This post is sponsored by Ricky Zoom. But, all opinions are my own. Screen time. In a perfect world, I would have my kids use it minimally. But, I work from home, have 4 kids each with individual needs and let’s be honest, sometimes my sanity depends on it. So, I love the Ricky Zoom app because when my kids do get their screen time, and I get a few all-important minutes to do what I need to around the house; I know they are getting good, age-appropriate, interactive and educational screen-time that they enjoy, but also they are learning important life lessons without even realizing it. It comes in…

St. George is the largest city in the Southern part of Utah and is a great place to stay as you discover the beauty of the region with all the comforts of the city. Our family visits the area often from Southern California since it is a relatively quick drive at a little over 5 hours. We have had…

Etiwanda Falls Waterfall Trail in the Inland Empire
It’s been years since we’ve done the Etiwanda Falls Trail in the North Etiwanda Preserve in Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. In fact, the last time we did it, we had 2 kids and one of them was still in the hiking carrier. So, adding two more was interesting because this is a hike. Not a hard hike, but it is relatively long coming in at 3.4 miles. TRAIL-HEAD: Etiwanda Falls Trail (look on maps) North of the 210 fwy off Etiwanda Ave. DON’T PARK ON STREET!!! Watched a cop write about 100 tickets to cars on the street; pay attention to the “No-Parking” signs. There is a gravel lot at the…

Family Holiday Traditions
I am a firm believer in family traditions. I like to do our traditional events and activities year after year. This doesn’t mean I won’t do or add new things into the mix; it just means there are things I like and look forward to and everything extra is simply icing on the cake. The holidays are the best when it comes to creating good family traditions. My kids, as young…
