Summer and baseball are two things that go hand in hand. Sitting under the bright stadium lights on a cool summer night. The smell of hotdogs and popcorn wafting through the air. Cheers, and music enveloping you as you root, root, root for the home team. A baseball game is all good things summer is and has to offer; and our family was lucky enough to spend a magical evening with the Elsinore Storm this summer.

The Storm is all the best parts of baseball without the traffic, crowds, and spending a small fortune on tickets, parking. and food.

The Lake Elsinore Storm is a minor league team (Class A), associated with the San Diego Padres. They play their games at the Lake Elsinore Diamond, which is quite honestly one of the best stadiums to attend in my opinion; as well as the professionals, as it is continually being voted one of the best minor league stadiums around. There is honestly not a bad seat in the house! Plus, every worker was helpful, professional and friendly adding to the overall enjoyment and atmosphere.

During the season they host fun promotions, themed nights and our favorite, fireworks! Which means you not only get to watch a great ball game and incredible athletes, but you are fully entertained between innings, etc. We attended on “Super hero night” and my kids were thrilled to see many people in full on costumes. Kids in better costumes than ours (whoops), were able to participate in a costume contest and win prizes. The team also brought the fun to the fans in the stadium throughout the evening with giveaways and games. We even caught a hotdog during the free hotdog throw… score! We danced, we laughed, we ate, we cheered and we won!!! Then we celebrated it all with fireworks!!!!

It Is fun for the whole family, and you don’t want to miss out!!!

Stadium located at: 500 Diamond Dr, Lake Elsinore, CA 92530. Tickets range from $9-$25. But like I said, there isn’t a bad seat in the entire stadium!
