If you are looking for all the things from a good pumpkin patch: mazes, animals, rides, food, games and more; and want to get it all in one spot, then the Live Oak Pumpkin Patch in Yucaipa is the place for you.
The Live Oak Pumpkin patch located in Yucaipa California (Redlands) is the largest outdoor pumpkin patch in all of Southern California.
32335 Live Oak Canyon Rd.
Redlands, CA 92373 (right off the I-10)
Opens September 22- October 31st (hours vary)
This Southern California pumpkin patch, the largest in all of California, is located on a large farm and is quite stunning. I would highly recommend taking the train ride to really get a feel for the size and horticulture growing in the area. And breath in the huge display of colorful, fragrant flowers and pine trees, it smells delicious.
However, what really sets this pumpkin patch apart from others is the amount of activities and things to do once you are inside. Aside from being able to pick the perfect pumpkin of every variety, shape, size, and color (you can pick them at the pumpkin tent or take a walk through the you-pick pumpkin patch); there really is something for everyone to enjoy; genuinely making for a full fun day.
When I say there is something for everyone… I mean it. With over 44 activities (some free, most require paid tickets), including: bounce houses, corn seed pit, pumpkin and corn blasting, paint ball shooting, a large climbable hay castle, gem mining, mini atv or pony rides for kids, and more; this place really delivers. This year they’ve even added “the WORLD’S largest rocking horse.’ So much to do, so little time.
Furthermore, options also include a large corn maze, food trucks with many options, so many family photos ops, a petting zoo, the farm, pumpkins and even fun characters to take photos with. The real question is simply: what more could you want?
***Additional info: weekdays tend to be a lot less busy. And discounts are given on admission before 2 pm on weekends. The closer to Halloween the more expensive it is- so go early!
The U-Pick Pumpkin Fields and Tractor Hay Ride close at Sunset. Entry to the Corn Maze closes 1 hour before closing time to allow visitors to complete the maze. Entry to other attractions may close up to 1 hour before closing time if needed to allow everyone in line to enter.
