Quality Live Entertainment at the Extraordinary Candlelight Pavilion
Recently we attended the production of Peter Pan at The Candlelight Pavilion in Claremont, California in the Inland Empire. The Candlelight Pavilion is in essence dinner theater. Providing guests with exceptional gourmet food prepared by executive chefs and served by a formal wait staff. It is a delicious fine dining experience for all. Get there early and while you enjoy your wonderful meal you will be entertained by a guitarist who is as talented as the actors. We lucked out at this particular show to have not only the regular guitarist but a flutist accompany him. The music truly provides a wonderful ambiance as we chatted and enjoyed our fancy…

Best Things to do on Summer Nights in Southern California

And California is one of the best at making these nights extraordinary! Here are a few of my favorite reasons why. Knotts Summer Nights! When the sun goes down, the party turns up! Guests can enjoy a variety of activities including live music, food, and games throughout the park. Catch the Storm Play Ball in Lake Elsinore
“Take me out to the ballgame, take me out to the crowd……” Summer and baseball are two things that go hand in hand. Sitting under the bright stadium lights on a cool summer night. The smell of hotdogs and popcorn wafting through the air. Cheers, and music enveloping you as you root, root, root for the home team. A baseball game is all good things summer is and has to offer; and our family was lucky enough to spend a magical evening with the Elsinore Storm this summer. The Storm is all the best parts of baseball without the traffic, crowds, and spending a small fortune on tickets, parking. and…

10 Easy Family Favorite Hikes in Southern California
My family loves to hike. We have started all our kids out young. Do they always enjoy it? No. But, they don’t usually complain much because it’s just something we’ve always done. Now, I am not talking Mt. Whitney here. I am talking a good, solid, let’s almost call them nature walks (usually between 1-3.5 miles). We do have backpack carriers (for the kids), but when possible, we try to use a stroller. Because let’s be honest, who wants to lug a kid around whilst already exerting yourself? Am I right??? And we usually try to get all the “big kids” ages 3+ doing it on their own. Here are…

Let’s Play in the Mud! Kid’s Outdoor Obstacle Course Race
Prado Regional Park, Chino Ca This was such a great way to get kids outside, get active and have a whole lotta fun doing it! We were lucky enough to take our two older kids (as the race was age 6+) to Prado Regional Park a couple of weeks ago in Chino to participate in the Kids Obstacle Course. Like always we were running a bit behind schedule that morning, which was such a bummer because there was so much fun to do before the race started. We were able to hustle through and do the majority of activities available before our run and finished the rest after. The activities…
